Comments: Cruelty in a post-Civil War plantation spurs a strike among the "free" black folks. One is killed trying to save the others. The overseer, who sympathetizes with his workers, cuts down the hanged black man. He's blamed for the death and is "tried" and sent to prison. Along the way, his wife is raped and killed, and his boy is killed and thrown down the cabin's well. The overseer dies whilst being punished in prison. But, he comes back from the dead to exact his revenge.

Loosely based on the November 1887 strike in Louisana and the subsequent Thibodaux Massacre. It seems to be an independent film. It presents the story from an unexpected point of view. Shot in Texas.
