Comments: This film takes place during Sherman's March to the Sea. Three young women are living in a remote farmhouse. They're waiting for the War Between the States to end, so their men will be able to return home. Little do they know that the war is coming to them. A pair of Federal soldiers are scouting in front of the Union army.

This film presents a more human version of the Civil War, including the devastation wreaked upon the Southern women. The three main actresses all do good jobs.
