Comments: Noah, an investigator with the Humanity Bureau, begins to question his job. The Humanity Bureau was established after an apocalypse destroyed commerce, and subsequentially production, in the United States. Walls were erected around the cities. The rural areas were left to fend for themselves. That is, until the country folk don't pull their weight; then, they're transported to New Eden. (I think you can interpret what "New Eden" is.) Will Noah make the human choice when he interviews his latest "client", an unmarried woman with a boy? Or will he continue to be more hated than IRS agents?

This post-apocalyptic film is enjoyable because it delves into a character coping with a difficult setting. The story material reminds me of the late Philip K. Dick. I, also, enjoyed how this Canadian film focuses on individuals. (That is where engaging stories are told.) The shots of the landscape are pretty. If you enjoy post-apocalyptic films, then I recommend this film.
