Comments: A spam text message propagates a virus, which cripples the power grid. People panic and another, unexplained, event stops transportation, exacerbating the problem. An apocalypse occurs. The main focus of the film is a group of people who are lucky to be staying in a self-sufficient house in the hills of Northern California. They have personal and relationship problems.

The idea is decent, and the movie is well shot. The acting is OK, too. My hangup is why would a survivalist not have any firearms? There's lots of drug use, probably because it was filmed in Mendocino County. Not a bad film.
