Comments: The Jumanji board game is found washed up on a beach. It quickly winds up in the hands of a late '90s "gaming" guy. He ignores it, because it's a board game. Curiosity takes hold of him one night, and the game is activated. Flash forward twenty years and the board game has become a classic video game. But will the students, who discover it, be drawn in?

Initially, I dismissed this film. I enjoyed the original film, and thought the idea was spent. I was wrong! OK, yes, this film is not going to be listed as a great or influential movie. But, I did enjoy it!

There's a moral, and the characters grow. Also, the plot moves along steadily with short breaks for necessary "breathers". Also, the actors in the world of Jumanji do such a wonderful job maintaining their real-world characters, despite being completely physically different. Enjoy this fun and adventurous film! (I watched it on an airplane, so there may be some infractions that were removed.)
