Comments: A boy is born with facial deformation that is too difficult to see. After countless surgeries, he is seen as visually acceptable. Needless to say, he is home-schooled by his well-educated mother. He excels. But, when he reaches the first year of middle school, his parents decide to enroll him in public school. Will his education and the love of his family be sufficient to give him a chance?

What a powerful film! I enjoyed how it didn't just focus on the main character. Instead, the film presents the perspective and feelings of the supporting characters, during different segments of the movie. Also, all the characters are important in this film. There's also an appreciation of the stage and of nature. It's based on a novel. Highly recommended.
