Comments: Four men run a distant spaceship responsible for destroying problem planets. But, they're the ones that may be destroyed, when a smart bomb decides to arm itself and threaten the ship.

This is John Carpenter's directorial debut. It's supposed to be a parody of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The result is a goofy, short film. It really has to be seen to appreciate the silliness.
