Comments: The film begins with a robot waking up a human pilot to fight off some space pirates. After that, he finds that his mission has been changed to an investigation at a remote research facility. There, they claim that a genetic creation has destroyed a laboratory, but is now in metamorphosis in an incubation unit. It probably can't get out, if the unit stays closed. Guess what happens next.

This gore fest is hard to take. Walls, counters, floors, even the doctor's costume, are covered in blood. But the pretty, early 1980s women are delightful to see! I guess this movie is a cult classic, which is probably, in no small part, because of the unnecessary shower scene! Gratuitous nudity and gore makes this flick a poster child for 1980s horror.
