Comments: A Texas university professor is left by his wife, who takes his loved son. Little does he expect that life can get worse because, to an open-minded adult, a drunken romantic fling shouldn't be a big deal.

While this movie did not do well in the box office, there are important messages in it. What's the reason why it did poorly? Well, I think that the plot was too segmented and unnecessarily complicated. Since the acting was strong, if a tad over-dramatized at parts, it carried the poorly laided-out plot. Also, some events didn't fit the characters too well and worked only to add confusion. But in the end it's a fair movie that stirs some mental activity.

This film is very political. The Texan death penalty is the target. I'm afraid that the story suffers under the burden of this yoke.
