Title (Year): Never Let Me Go (2010) Age: 14 yearsGRS Rating: 5 of 5
Infractions: None. Comments: Three friends grow up in an English boarding home during the '70s & '80s. It's hard to tell if they're orphans. One thing is for sure: something isn't right about the home. Health and education are stressed while art isn't as important. As they grow up, they realize their lot in life. What a clever idea! This could be the British answer to The Island except this film is much more interested in the characters than special effects and chase scenes. Recommended. |
