Comments: A bored, push-over New York Thruway toll taker is told he's off to play in a baseball game (in November, in Buffalo), and instead he's the wheelman for a bank heist. He's caught and does time. While in prison, he meets a voluntary permanent prisoner. They then intend to knock off the bank for real this time.

This is a different film. I thought it really enjoyable because it delves into the main characters so deeply. All the main characters are memorable because of this. Also, it's good to see Buffalo and Niagara Falls in a good light.
