Comments: This movie is fun and exciting, however, no one can replace Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes: Robert Downey's Holmes is a new age gritty Holmes. I can draw a similiarity between the classic Bond (Sean Connery) and the modern Bond (Daniel Craig). One character is what we've grown to accept and love, while the other is an upstart portraying a very human side to a fantastical character. The same can be said about Doctor Watson. I recommend the movie.
