Like the latest Mad Max film, I really enjoyed this film. It struck a chord with me.
Yes, this film is quite long, like the original , and the future world is mostly miserable. Though, I will remark that the addition of snow makes it better.
There are allusions to Mr. Dick's novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. But, there are no other references to the novel. Too bad because I read the novel before viewing this film! Still, this movie is enjoyable and worth watching.
