Comments: A female scientist discovers a way to use DNA to repair injuries and eliminate disease. She makes a mistake and ends up being transformed into a strange tentacle creature. An honest scientist continues the work; however, the woman's crony will do anything to get his technology. Meanwhile, a female bounty hunter kills people who weaponize this technology. Killing these DNA hackers is her way of buying herself and her brother out of a ghetto. This is, of course, set in a future world.

This film isn't too good. It feels like a cheesy made-for-TV movie about a bad video game. Actually, it's based on a series of graphic novels. It's set in a gritty, future world. The bad guy is pretty funny, because he's so over the top! Bai Ling looks good in skimpy Tomb Raider style costumes.
