Comments: Thirty years on, the Resistance continues to be a thorn in the side of the Empire. Though, nothing more than an annoyance. A new Darth Vader-like character decides to seek out Luke Skywalker, who's gone into hiding after a bad mission. One thing leads to another and a droid is left with key information. This droid lands on a remote planet, and into the hands of a scavenger.

Sound familiar? This film reminds me so much of Star Wars. Can't Abrams tell a story without slightly redoing an existing one? He did the same with Star Trek. The Darth-Vader-like villain in this film also removes his mask early on. There goes most of his ability to scare! Though, there's a new character that grows out of the mess. She may promise to be unique. Why do I bother watching new Star Wars films?
