Comments: A major cyclone is bearing down on Los Angeles. A surfer guy with a bar on Santa Monica pier recognizes the danger of the storm, after he witnesses sharks being swept in with it. Wouldn't it be enough for a hurricane to pass over the normally-calm Southland? What if this exceptional event caused waterspouts to suck up sharks, pass over land, and deposit sharks inland? Really, will anyone survive?
This Syfy made-for-TV movie is silly and unrealistic. The flooding footage is borrowed from news coverage from around the country. (Look at the license plates and scenery.) Despite the low budget, this film is enjoyable. Go in expecting nothing and come out with something. Albeit, little more than basic entertainment. That's something!
