Comments: This film picks up where the original film leaves off. The group has been rescued after escaping the Maze. The trouble is that the organization that saved them doesn't seem to be on the level. Or are the characters just jumpy after their ordeal in the Maze?
This movie employs more special effects than the first one. There are some plots holes, but the characters are more developed. Despite being a bit predictable, this is a fun--if gross--young adult action film. I also enjoyed the desert camping scenes and post-apocalyptic world around San Francisco.
