Comments: This movie develops around a May-December relationship. Despite being set in thoroughly-liberal Massachusetts (filmed in Quebec), this movie shows the residual racism that still exists today.

I was upset that Ed Harris's character got away with murder. Perhaps I am influenced by living in a "red-blooded" state, but I was angered that a psychotic could get away with--what I think is--the murder of two without any punishment. Regardless of opinion, this is a well-executed drama that makes one think about one's conviction about love and life.
