Comments: This film explains the retreat from Dunkirk during the Second World War. It centers around three civilian boaters, two soldiers, and a trio of Spitfire pilots.

This dramatization make an exciting and intense film. I liked how the events are repeatedly shown from different of points of view. Yes, it took a bit to figure out what was going on, but it is worth it. The heroism is inspiration and touching. The film isn't complete realistic. But it's close, and who cares when there so many scenes of Spitfires? The aerial shots are very impressive. I could not tell if they were computer generated. The film was filmed in the relevant area in northern France. Recommended!
