Comments: This silly film follows three musketeers and a country bumpkin, who joins up with them. When they're not stealing and fighting, they take on a powerful cardinal, who wishes to overthrow the French king and queen. The musketeers are loyal to the Royals.

The humor is distinctly French. There's lots of goofy swordplay. It's satirical, too. I wonder if the film is true to the French novel by Alexandre Dumas. It is a fun film.
