Comments: Three children are living happily until their parents are killed when their mansion burns to the ground. They are brought to a distant relative, one Count Olaf. They quickly learn that he intends to acquire their deceased parents' fortune. As the orphans are carted around to other foster parents, the Count dresses up and follows them. Is there a connection between the greedy relative and the death of their parents?

This dark comedy is entertaining. There are some unsual cars, which are players in their own right. The style is also different. I wonder if the director captured the spirit of the dark children's books, upon which this film is based?
