Comments: A loner physicist/computer programmer decides to test his time machine, which operates from a mobile phone, via the cellular towers. Being a hopeless romantic, he uses it while cashing his paycheck at a local bank. He tries several times to get the woman, of his dreams,--the teller--to accept him. But then an armed force of British baddies try to knock over the bank. Which will triumph: love or violence?

"Mikey" from The Goonies is back. Only not: the actor is back and now grown up, and leading this film. I could do without the excessive gunplay in this flick. Also, even though it is a time-travel film, slow motion is abused. There are some very cool reverse-action clips, though. Those, and the modern soundtrack, make this film better than it should be. The story is crippled, and the characters aren't great. Fortunately, the ending is good. I also liked the reversing trick with the ending credits. Overall, the filming is clever, which will keep one engaged. Still, I wouldn't run out to see this film.
