Comments: This TV miniseries tells of a corporation that has developed a supercomputer to simulate a near future world. The idea is to replicate a town and its residents so ideas or products may be introduced, and the responses observed. But when the chief of programming suddenly dies, his assistant, and friend, takes over. He begins to notice people disappearing. Meanwhile, the press and public are becoming antsy about the new technology. A particular reporter fears a connection between the corporation and a steel giant.

This German show is bizarre. It's also intriguing and enjoyable, if a bit drawn out. The style of filming is something to see. The concept must have quite shocking when it was first seen. It's filmed, at least partly in Paris. Recommended.
