Comments: Connor returns from a visit outside his small mining village in Cumbria, England. He brings back news of the Black Death, which is killing everyone, and is on its way. His brother Griffin is glad that he has returned and sees a way to ward off the plague. They follow his visions and dig their way through the earth to 1988 New Zealand. There, their plan is to cast a copper spire and raise it on the cathedral.

This film is not relaxing. It's filmed in a clever manner. The 14th century is mostly filmed in black and white, while the 20th is in color. This quirky film was shot in New Zealand.
