Comments: An university scientist develops a machine to predict earthquakes long before they occur. His device foretells a large earthquake soon. He warns the California government, but his warning goes unheeded. A large 'quake strikes the Southland killing thousands. Now, the government is interested. The machine figures that a tremendous earthquake, unlike any before, is coming.

This short film is set on proving why we should change our ways. The way it does it is much better than contemporary films, because emotion isn't allowed to run away with the truth. This is a quality, '50s film.
