Comments: In the late 19th century, the tomb of Princess Ananka of Egypt is discovered and opened by English archeologists. Then, one of the Britons is shocked into a three-year period of "mental illness." When he finally speaks again, he talks of a vengeful mummy. They think he's gone mad; however, an Egyptian priest is angry with the desecration of the tomb and vows to exact revenge. Thus, a mummy is released.

This film probably inspired The Mummy. There are several similarities in the story. The theme of the soundtrack is also similar. The minor characters in the pubs are hilarious. The film is exciting.
