Comments: A romance novelist's sister is being held for ransom in Colombia. The writer decides to leave her almost-hermit-like life in New York City and come to her sister's aid. Along the way, she meets a man who she pays to get her to the ransom meeting, after she is led off-course. He's interested in her treasure map, or maybe more.

This film is a romantic adventure with comedy thrown in. It's the original to Jewel of the Nile. This flick is a fun, adventure film that set the stage for current films of this type. Recommended.
