Comments: A history professor, who loves the Wild West, suddenly loses his beloved wife and son in a freak car wreck. He tries to move on, so his love of the West becomes his life. At an auction, he and a friend purchase a couple of old trunks and their contents. What he discovers in his trunk could change his understanding of time. It may even attract the attention of others!

This time travel flick is great fun! The characters are likeable and memorable. The plot flows well. I especially enjoyed the method of showing the flashbacks at the beginning. All in all, this is a lost pearl of the '80s time-travel mania. A fairly unusual Panther is chosen as the hero's car. This TV movie is based on a novel, and I recommend it!
