Comments: A family sets out for New Guinea to escape Napolean's war in Europe. They are shipwrecked on a tropical island after the crew abandons the ship during a storm. They make a life on the island, which could be threatened by pirates.

This Disney film somewhat follows the book and is exciting. The scenery is excellent, too! Good family movie.
