This is Robert Strauss' final film. It had only a limited viewing and was not released until recently. This post-apocalyptic film is good because it delves so deeply into a single character as he tries to accept a life of solitude. Also, the film ponders American ideals. The use of Holst's The Planets, specifically Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age; is awesome, and appropriate, to hear. Cast Away drew from this film. Watching this obscure film is worth it, though it is slow moving.
