Comments: A comet has introduced apocalypse to the earth. There's no rain anymore. A young woman, who grew up in the new desert, witnesses the destruction of her camp by the powerful Water & Power company. She is captured and put to work, while resisting them. Things change for the better when she saves a jet mechanic prisoner.

This wacky film is definitely feminist. It's based on a British comic book series. The story is predictable, but the silly dialogue makes it enjoyable. The main character channels Madonna, and I think Naomi Watts may regret this film.
