Comments: A Hippie couple are raising their six children in the woods of the Northwest. A tragedy concerning the mother compels the father to bring his children into the real world. They are, of course, not ready for what awaits them. This, and other factors, makes the father question his method of raising the children.
This is a powerful film. The family is doing well living off-the-grid. But this story is more basic than that: it explores the concepts of dropping out of society and home schooling children. Great, simple film.
