Comments: A fat foster child is adopted by a kind woman and her outdoorsy husband. Being from the city, the boy has trouble adjusting. All is going well until his adopted "aunt" dies. The man doesn't know what to do and says he's going to return the child to social services and will head into the bush himself. The boy beats him to it, the man is injured, and both are made famous by the media.

This New Zealand film is fun with a good theme. The title is an allusion to wildebeests, which is a common interest for the boy. Recommended.
