Comments: In the near-future United States, crime has diminished and productivity is up. People are happier, and there are fewer homeless. How was this accomplished? Once a year, for a night, the law is suspended. Citizens are allowed to destroy, rape, kill, whatever they want during that single night. So when the main character's family and house are threatened, what will he do? What would you do if there were no police?

The premise is thought provoking and the movie is well executed. It is violent; however, it is understandable. The moral questions presented are worth answering. Definitely worth watching, if just for the hypothetical questions.
