Comments: A geeky guy and a "firecracker" girl are trying to camp for their anniversary. But when they break the tent, they head back to town in search of a motel. Along the way, they're hijacked by a criminal couple. The victims think that luck has shifted in their favor when the vehicle overheats near a gas station.

The monster in this film is like John Carpenter's Thing. It's disgusting and overly graphic. The plot is typical of the trapped-in-a-building horror. If the characters were memorable, it would have been alright. But they're really not. It's too bad the focus was on gore and not on where the monster came from.
