Comments: A Parisian family arrive at their country house. Finding it occupied by armed strangers, the father attempts to reason with the armed man. The father is shot and the mother, young boy and girl set out looking to survive some apocalyptic event. The catastrophe has left clean water scarce, but little else is explained.

What a depressing film! Sadly, it's also engaging. Not a lot happens, but we do learn how a variety of people cope with death and shortages of supplies. The ending scene is far too long, and seemingly pointless! This is an odd French film.
