Comments: When their companion spaceship mysteriously breaks off communication, they go to investigate. Immediately, they're pulled by a very strong gravitational field, but soft land on the surface of a planet. They find all the crew members of the other ship killed. However, strange things begin to occur.

This has got to be a cult classic. The effects are decent, and I especially like the design of the spaceships. The ending is excellent, too. The movie is quite different from the shorty story, upon which it was based. (Conveniently, the story is available on the rental DVD.) Both the movie and the story are thought-provoking. Recommended.
