Comments: A retiring Maine diner owner reveals to a local teacher that his place has a "rabbit hole" leading to 1960. The diner owner also reveals his great plan to save President Kennedy from assassination, with research to make it happen. Can the teacher do it? Will he do it?

This is based on a Stephen King novel. The mini-series is changed to be more dramatic. For instance, the screenwriters added entire scenes to exaggerate the history-doesn't-like-to-be-changed idea. These, and other scenes, darken the main character. Fortunately, Sarah Gadon's character helps to brighten the main character.

The sequence is not the same as the novel. Of course, details are also different. However, the essence of the novel seems intact. The period cars, costuming, and music are great to see and hear. The photography is truly excellent, especially for a TV program.
