Comments: Late in the second world war, the Nazis envision a concerted attack against France striking deep into Belgium, and capturing Antwerp. The hope was to win the war by splitting the Allied forces. History describes the results.

Telly Savalas is very funny while depicting a capitalizing New Yorker (?). Henry Fonda, like many times, is the leveling personality. Robert Shaw, ironically, plays a ruthless German tank commander.

My only problem with this, otherwise, great war film is that the main tank battle was filmed in the desert (California?). Aside from that, it's great to see so many tanks running around. Remember this was made before computer graphics. Not historically accurate. Recommended.
