Comments: A young teenaged boy is sent to stay with his father's mother at their rural estate in Dorset, while his mother searches for her MIA husband. Straight away he begins to see ghosts and learns that the ghosts are routinely seen. The boy is seen by the ghosts as he drifts in and out of their world. This allows the boy to learn about his father's past and also to help them.

This clever movie uses colors to distinguish between 1944 and 1809. There are several parallels in the two timelines. It's really great fun. It's written, for the screen, and directed by Julian Fellowes, who's known for Downton Abbey. And several Downton actors also appear in this film. Recommended.
