Comments: A swim coach (who's an ex-punk rocker) is friendly with many of the students at a German high school. All is going well until he is forced to teach a week-long senior project about autocracy. Dismayed, because he is denied his choice of anarchy, he makes up a vivid experiment. What he discovers not only shakes his foundations, but also sets up a teen revolution that could lead to a second Hitler!

This is based on the original story and the 1981 TV movie. To Americans, autocracy is more familar as absolutism, though there are subtle differences. This film explores the very real possibility of the emergence of Nazi-styled fascism today. Also, it serves as a warning not only for Germans but for any strongly nationalistic country like the USA. Recommended.
