He does his best to keep a façade even after learning that the rightful staff are locked up down below. What is going on?

This is a very good thriller. It shows that we can still produce a decent movie. Excellent acting all around, and Kate Beckinsale still looks wonderful! Based on an Edgar Allan Poe story.
