Comments: Suddenly, New York City is engulfed by a nuclear attack. The residents of an apartment building scramble for a secure shelter. They find it when the superintendent grudgingly opens the door to the boiler room, which he has made into a fallout shelter. At once, they begin to fear this survivalist. As they live together underground, they begin to wonder who they should really fear.

This is a graphic film that no one really should love. However, it does a great job of presenting the inter-personal problems that would develop in a small group of secluded individuals. The movie is not unlike a Lord of the Flies for adults, but is far more graphic.
