Comments: Four men are selected to rescue the kidnapped wife from a Mexican scoundrel. The waters are muddied when the leader of the rescue group recognizes the kidnapper as a trusted colleague. They set out on the paid mission, but soon question themselves.

This is an excellent revisionist Western. The plot isn't cut and dried, and the characters have noticable depth. It strikes me that this movie may have been the template for the A-Team TV series. Also, Claudia Cardinale not only looks great but acts fairly well. Recommended.
