Comments: Hoping to enter a state college and follow his passion of speaking, the main character is told that he has to fill his life first. So while trying to find his story, he is crippled in Vietnam. Discharged because he's deaf, he finds that he cannot go to college because "what use would a deaf person be to an employer?" He meets other disabled vets and becomes their mouthpiece.

This story is based on actual events. This man directly effected change that lead to federal legislation, which allows crippled Americans an equal chance at employment. Michael Sheen, who plays a wounded vet with celebral palsy, is not only convincing but hilarious at times. This is an inspirational film that is really enjoyable and beautifully presented. There's also an enjoyable classic rock soundtrack. Recommended.
