Comments: Ivan Locke leaves the building site that he's overseeing and turns onto the motorway. Through a series of phone calls, we learn that he's heading south, to London, to witness the birth of his illegitimate child. Along the way, it seems that he'll break down as his life starts to unravel.

This film is entirely filmed in a car, a BMW SUV to be specific. The premise sounds a bit dull, but I really enjoyed it. The dark motorway, the personal troubles, and the monumental construction project that the main character is trying to oversee via the phone really works. Tom Hardy is incredibly expressive without speaking many words. My only complaint is that the car should have been another four-seater, like a Maserati Quattroporte or an Aston Martin. Recommended.
