Comments: Almost being forbidden by Dutch courts, this 14-year-old girl sets out in her sailboat for a solo voyage around the world. Not willing to compete in the fastest time, she stops and experiences different cultures. The lengthy times alone allow her to find herself and to grow into a very grown-up 16-year-old at journey's end. Much of the film is shot by herself.

This is an excellent real life adventure. This young woman experiences the trials and triumphs of self-travel. It changes her.

Some have asked what I feel while traveling alone. This is a good portrait of the experience. Highly recommmended.
