Comments: This film shows the life of a female doctor in East Germany. She's punished for trying to find work in the West, so she can be with her boyfriend, and is sent to a rural hospital to work. While waiting for her boyfriend to help her defect, she gets to know her new boss. She thinks he's a sympathizer.

Interesting German film. It really shows the invasion of privacy endured by suspected possible defectors.
