Comments: An American soldier, whose P.R. campaign has filled the ranks of an international army, suddenly finds himself on the front line. Without any combat experience, he tries to desert and is captured. But things get a lot worse for him when he finds that he's stuck re-living the same day, his final one!

This a great film. The backdrop may be a brutal slaughter by aliens; however, this is only the vehicle to develop the central characters. There is a Roughnecks influence, and despite not being terribly fresh: this is a good film. Recommended.
