Comments: A twenty-one-year-old guy makes up an adventurous life for himself. Eventually, the people in his small town catch on. He's been fired from most jobs in the town. His father gets him a job at the newly-opened Target store as a last effort before forcing him to move to St. Louis. As overnight janitor, he is expected to clean the entire store. His job is thrown askew when the beautiful local rich girl hides out in the store.

This seemed to be a further study, by John Hughes, of the teenage dilemma started in The Breakfast Club. This is an enjoyable film. The custodian's part, though short, is hilarious.
